Who we are
GLEIN is a non-profit, community-based organization dedicated to improving the health, well-being, leadership capacity, and socio-economic development of girls, women, and young people.
Through health education, advocacy, mentorship, capacity-building, and strategic partnerships, GLEIN empowers individuals and communities to make informed decisions, achieve their full potential, and contribute to sustainable development.
The organization is committed to promoting health equity, gender equality, education, and inclusive community development in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Our programmes
From school halls to community learning spaces, our programmes meet people where they are and equip them to move forward with knowledge, confidence and dignity.

In collaboration with AMR Club, supported mothers at Abakpa Primary Health Center with health talks, baby care and infection prevention education, and antimicrobial resistance awareness.

Promoted menstrual health awareness, dignity and access to sanitary products among students at King of Glory Secondary School, Kaduna State.

A community health and dignity initiative delivered in collaboration with Official Menstrual Hygiene.

Celebrating the power, potential and leadership of girls under the theme “The Girl I Am, the Change I Lead: Girls on the Frontlines of Crisis.”

Reached between 800 and 1,000 young girls across 10 secondary schools and 15 communities in Igbo-Etiti LGA, Enugu State with menstrual health education and dignity-focused engagement.
Hosted 900 young girls from nine secondary schools across seven villages in Igbo-Etiti LGA.
Practical learning experiences designed to build confidence, enterprise skills and pathways to economic independence.
